When chronic stress, burnout, and emotional overwhelm go unaddressed, it impacts relationships, parenting, physical health, and the ability to fully enjoy the life they worked so hard to build.

You’ve worked hard to build a successful life and career, but behind the scenes you feel overwhelmed trying to balance work, parenting, relationships, and the constant pressure to do it all. You find yourself feeling anxious, emotionally drained, impatient with your partner, disconnected from your family, or carrying guilt no matter how much you accomplish.

“I should be able to handle this”.

“Motherhood looks so much easier for everyone else”.

“If I’m succeeding at work, I am failing at home”.

“I can’t remember the last time I relaxed”.

“No matter how much I accomplish, it is never enough”.

… sound familiar?

The thing is, you can handle this, and you can balance it all. Career and home life do not have to battle each other. Therapy will help you slow down, create healthier boundaries, and navigate the challenges of your career and home life so you can be successful in all areas of your life.

Hi, I’m Kaitlin, a Ventura therapist who helps women set healthy boundaries, build confidence and strengthen their relationships.

My clinical background includes training as a Trainee and Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in school-based settings, private practice, and Telehealth, where I worked with children and adults across a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, stress, relationship challenges, and trauma. I have specific and extensive experience working with parents who navigate challenges in parenting children who have a diagnosis which impacts their development and/or behavior.

In 2023, I opened my private practice in Ventura, where I now focus primarily on high-achieving women navigating self-worth, relationship challenges, and career and/or parenting stress.

My hope for you is that you are able to feel more in control of your life and schedule. I want you to feel like you have the time for yourself, so that you can show up for the people and things that matter to you. I want you to feel confident and empowered, not hanging on for dear life.

Career burnout and stress

This is for career women who feel completely unbalanced in their life. As women, we are expected to be master multi-takers, but often we end up prioritizing others above ourselves This is a perfect recipe for burnout, which impacts our physical and mental health.

Together, I will help you set healthier boundaries, identify any deeper narratives at play, so that you can feel like you have the bandwidth for all the things that are important to you.

Relationship struggles

Your marriage was great, in the beginning. Now, you feel pulled from every direction-someone always needs something from you. You feel disconnected from your partner, and intimacy has decreased dramatically from the beginning of your relationship. At this point, you feel like roommates. Let’s work together so we can untangle what is going on, and begin to strengthen your relationship.

Low self-esteem

If you’re someone struggling with low confidence, constantly second guessing yourself, or feeling like you’re never enough no matter how much you accomplish, you are not alone.
